Our

History

We started with a road and the abandoned homestead of the Amore Family. Instantly we fell in love with a piece of land that feels elemental and wild, overlooking South Lake Leelanau.

While only ten minutes drive from towns like Cedar, Lake Leelanau and Sutton’s Bay; the farm acreage is expansive, fertile, and remote. We desired only two things, to cultivate exceptional grapes, and to produce dazzling wines.  These rolling hills and sandy loam soils on the French Road Plains of Centerville Township are a perfect place to grow the vibrant whites that have become a hallmark of Michigan’s wine-growing regions.

The Goodell family has spent an abundance of time, sweat, tears, and money in order to launch their vineyard and wine tasting room.  But we’re not complaining!  We are proud to have our hard work pay off in the form of tremendous products and unforgettable customers.

At least one family member is usually present in the tasting room or vineyard at all times.  All of us are most eager to share our trials and tribulations with anyone who cares to listen!  So grab a glass and relax, make some friends, and enjoy the fruits of our labors.
